Solo Wave Defense

Last updated: October 23, 2026

A Solo Wave Defense is won by a team of ships holding the centre against waves of hostiles. Anbots NG runs the whole defense with three of your drydocks, from the opening to the rewards.

Build the team

In the Fleet tab, set one drydock's Mode to Solo Wave: it leads the team. Set two other drydocks to Wave escort. Both modes need Premium.

  • With fewer than two escorts, the bot warns you: the game lets the defense start, but it cannot be won.
  • More than two escorts, or two Solo Wave drydocks, and the defense does not run. The warning is shown in red.
  • Escorts with no Solo Wave drydock stay docked.

Choose the defense

The target button (⊕) on the Solo Wave drydock's row opens the team's settings:

  • Wave: Solo or Elite Solo.
  • Level: G4 (45-50), G5 (50-55) or G6 (60-65).
  • Continue after a defeat: ticked, the team goes on to the next defense; unticked, it stops.

What the team does

  • The three ships get repaired and docked, then the Solo Wave ship opens a defense in a system of that type and level. It does not replay one of the last systems while others are available.
  • The escorts join, and the Solo Wave ship starts the defense.
  • Each ship takes the hostile closest to the centre, the one that would reach it first, or one that comes close to the ship itself. Our ships never go for the same hostile.
  • At the end, the Solo Wave ship collects the rewards, and the team opens the next defense.

Every defense uses a Wave Defense token: the team goes on until they run out. Your recall setting still applies to each ship.

Quick answers

How many ships does it take?

Three drydocks: one in Solo Wave mode, which leads, and two in Wave escort mode. A win needs both escorts.

What happens after a defeat?

The team stops, unless Continue after a defeat is ticked: then it opens the next defense.

When does it stop?

When your Wave Defense tokens run out, when no system matches the Wave and Level you chose, or after a defeat if you asked it to stop. The bot says why.

Does it need Premium?

Yes. Solo Wave and Wave escort are Premium modes.
