Q's Trials mode

Q's Trials come back every day, and the daily goals ask for a set number of them. This mode plays them for you, one after the other, until the goal is reached.

Set a drydock to Q's Trials

In the Fleet tab, set the drydock's Mode to Q's Trials. There is no destination to type: the trial decides where the ship goes. Q's Trials mode needs Premium.

Choose the trial

The target button (⊕) on the drydock's row opens its settings:

  • Trial: Explorers, Interceptors or Battleships.
  • Stars: highest unlocked, or a level from ★ to ★★★★.
  • Trials per day: 5 (Q's Gauntlet) or 3 (Q's Challenge), the daily goal you want to complete.

What the ship does

  • It starts from the dock or the system of your base, repaired.
  • It opens Q's Trials, picks the trial, starts it, finds the target and attacks.
  • After a win it claims the reward first, then starts the next trial.
  • Once the day's goal is reached, the ship goes home and the drydock waits for the next day.
  • With not enough Trial Bells, or no trial of that type unlocked, it stops and says why.

Your recall setting still applies during a trial.

As a routine step

Q's Trials can be one step of a Routine: play the daily trials first, then hunt or mine for the rest of the session. The step ends when the day's goal is reached.

Quick answers

How many trials does it play?

As many as Trials per day asks: 5 for the Q's Gauntlet goal, 3 for the Q's Challenge goal. Then the ship goes home and the drydock waits for the next daily reset.

Which trial does it start?

One of the Trial type you chose, Explorers, Interceptors or Battleships, at the Stars you set. With highest unlocked, it takes the hardest one you have opened.

What if I run out of Trial Bells?

The drydock stops and says there are not enough Trial Bells. It also stops, and says why, when no trial of that type is unlocked yet.

Can it be part of a routine?

Yes. Q's Trials can be a routine step: the step is done once the day's goal is reached, and the routine moves on.

Does it need Premium?

Yes. Q's Trials mode is a Premium feature.
