Anomaly mode
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Some events ask you to kill hostiles in the systems hit by an anomaly. Anomaly mode hunts there for you: no system to look up, no destination to retype when the anomaly moves.
Set a drydock to Anomaly
In the Fleet tab, set the drydock's Mode to Anomaly. The Destination stays empty: Anbots NG chooses the system. Anomaly mode needs Premium.
Pick its targets
The drydock uses the same target filter as a hunt: the hostile types and the levels it may take. The levels also decide which systems in anomaly suit it.
What the ship does
- It goes to the nearest system in anomaly that fits its levels, and hunts there.
- It skips the Mirror Universe, deep space, and an anomaly that is about to end.
- When the anomaly ends, or when there is nothing left to attack for a few minutes, it moves to the next system in anomaly. Never in the middle of a fight.
- With no anomaly that fits its levels, it waits and says so.
Everything else is a hunt
Travel, the Recall setting, repairs and work budgets work exactly as in hunting mode.
Quick answers
Do I need to type a destination?
No. In Anomaly mode the drydock has no destination: Anbots NG picks the system in anomaly itself, and changes it when it has to.
Which system does it pick?
The nearest system in anomaly whose level fits the drydock targets. It leaves out the Mirror Universe, deep space, and an anomaly that ends too soon to be worth the trip.
What happens when the anomaly ends?
The drydock moves to the next system in anomaly that fits. It also moves on after a few minutes with nothing left to attack, and never in the middle of a fight.
Does it need Premium?
Yes. Anomaly mode is a Premium feature.
