Mirror Universe

Last updated: September 20, 2026

The Mirror Universe is not a separate mode: it is a destination. Send a drydock to a system on the other side and the bot works out the way in.

How it gets there

You set the destination in the Fleet tab, like any other system. The bot routes the ship through the rift, and keeps its head when the way in is not where it expects: it looks for the gate again instead of warping in circles, and a jump that does not fire is retried without paying for a second rift.

What it does once there

The mode you gave that drydock applies on the other side too: it hunts or mines, comes home when its recall says so, repairs, and goes back out. Nothing else to set.

Mirror space has its own rules

Nothing to configure on the other side. The bot travels there and back on its own, leaves before dying rather than before a timer, and mines to the last second.

Coming back

The bot follows what you set: the recall level for the cargo, the hull threshold, the work budget for that ship. When the run ends, your ships can be recalled automatically.

Quick answers

Do I have to take the rift myself?

No. Give the drydock a destination in the Mirror Universe and the bot routes it through the rift on its own.

What if the bot cannot find the rift?

It looks for the gate again instead of warping in circles, and a jump that does not fire is retried without paying for a second rift.

Can it hunt and mine on the other side?

Yes. Once the ship is there, the mode you set for that drydock works as it does anywhere else.
