Connect to the game
Last updated: September 20, 2026
Anbots NG works with the game already running: there is nothing to connect by hand. Start Star Trek Fleet Command, log in, then start Anbots NG.
What you see while it connects
The header of the bot walks through its steps: connecting to STFC client, then calibration, where it measures the game window, then Connected. From there the bot knows where it is in the game and is ready to start.
What it needs
- The game running and past the login screen.
- The game set to Windowed, in the graphical settings — see download and install.
- Nothing else: no emulator, no second window, no login given to the bot.
If it keeps waiting
The header tells you what it is waiting for. In almost every case the game is not started yet, is still on its login screen, or is in full screen instead of Windowed. Fix that and the bot carries on by itself.
Quick answers
Anbots NG says it is waiting for the STFC client. What do I do?
Check that the game is running and past its login screen, and that it is set to Windowed in the graphical settings. Anbots NG picks it up on its own once it is there.
Does Anbots NG work if Windows is set to 125% or 150% display scale?
Yes. The game window is measured at those scales too.
Can I use my PC for something else once it is connected?
Yes. The game does not need to stay in front. Anbots NG borrows the mouse for a few milliseconds per click and puts it back.
